“Culture Wars” of the 1920’s
A new form of the infamous KKK (Ku Klux Klan) arose in the 1920’s. It was used as a scare tactic after the Civil War to intimidate former slaves. Which in this time in history there were a lot of changes going on with immigration, fear of radicalism, and a revolution in morals. So there was more than enough conflict. The KKK not only was against the African America race, but against bootleggers and divorcees, Jews etc. Klan members considered themselves defenders of Prohibition, traditional morality, and true Americanism. In the early 1920’s the Klan help 16 U.S. Senators and Representatives into office. During that period they had helped stop a New York Catholic, at the Democratic National Convention in the states. After these events the Klan was very open with their beliefs. They paraded around announcing themselves and advocating white supremacy, some of which were business owners, farmers, and workers. The KKK has a record of terrorism, violence, and lynching to intimidate. Even though the Ku Klux Klan was started in 1865, it had a booming era in the 1920’s which more than one Klan was started and at most there where about 200,000 members at a few meetings. Although we still have many forms of the KKK and many actual Klans they are much more secretive and less accepted.

-I always felt sorry for humans, spending so much time in front of the mirror. Fixing their hair, makeup and cloths, mostly
to impress others. Did the really see themselves in the mirror? Was it what they wanted to see? Did it make them feel good or
bad? And mostly i wondered if they bassed their self-image on their reflected one.
-People talk more than they can handle, more than they can think, and way to fast, look for details befor you say something
you know nothing about.
-Friends forever friends that last friends from far and friends from past. Friends that started that will never stop, some
come and some may go but their the ones that help you grow.

My Name IS, and was, Keisha Michelle Marie Twardowski. My family and friends are my life, mess with them and mess with me. My fav baseball team is the CUBS. Fav football team is the BEARS. and then there's the Riverman Hockey Team. I am originally from Lasalle, Illinois. I love to just hang out. Im dating a guy named Jared Wayne Mathis and hes amazing. I just moved to West Virginia. And I am loving it. Im an animal lover and a veggie. I have a reason for doing everything i do in life. And everything I do, I do for fun. Im a true Juggalette. Have been for like ever now. And don't judge me for it. No one will ever know who i really am unless you live in my shoes. There is a lot that I have been through in life and I am really happy that most of it happened even if it really messed stuff up. I try to stay on the bright side with everything I do, and I am learning that it is the best way to go. I change all the time. So don't try to categorize me. I smell really good.
